Family Supportive Housing (FSH) helps homeless single and two-parent families remain intact, while addressing their needs for shelter, food, employment and education. FSH’s targeted services are vital in helping families move from crisis to living selfsufficient lives in our community.

FSH operates the San Jose Family Shelter, the only facility in Santa Clara County committed to supporting entire families. Residents receive three healthy meals, a warm and safe room, and support services that help get them back on track and into permanent housing.

FSH’s goal is to get resident families successfully reintegrated into the positive fabric of our communities.

• Personal Case Managers
• Health & Wellness Case Manager
• Housing Search Specialist
• Evening Adult Educational Workshops
• Onsite Voyager Child Development Center
• Year-round Homework Enrichment Program

Once a family is in permanent housing, they are eligible for Family Supportive Housing’s Bridges AfterCare program, which provides up to 24 months of additional case management and services. This added support can be crucial to helping families achieve lasting independence.
