Mentor Tutor Connection

Mentor Tutor Connection (formerly Partners for New Generations) is a community-supported nonprofit organization that provides tutors and mentors to students in our Los Altos and Mountain View schools.

Each year, Mentor Tutor Connection places approximately 150 volunteers working directly with students. At the elementary and middle school level, volunteer tutors help with subjects such as reading, math, and science. At the high school level, students are paired 1-to-1 with a volunteer mentor with similar interests. Mentors are caring adults who meet regularly with their student to listen to them, share experiences and be a positive role model for them.

Originally founded in 1995 by the Los Altos Rotary Club, Mentor Tutor Connection has been in service to our community for over 17 years, faithfully supplying volunteer tutors and mentors to help our local kids succeed.
